October surprise?

An unsubstantiated rumor but delicious nonetheless. From a friend of a friend comes word of 22 indictments in Treasongate. The list of names are most interesting, including the much overlooked Mary Matalin.

I feel like a kid waiting for Christmas.

Not Mary Matalin! She's one of the only Republicans in high places that I kinda like!

BTW--That new guy Mike at the Detroit News weblog is a total bafoon. I think that I could impersonate a conservative a still make a more persuasive argument for his side than he can.

I think DetNews is punishing me for failing to get a new photo taken. I was supposed to do it months ago. So they brought on a new nutjob to keep the other nutjob company.

I'm sure you know who the other one is.

Did you notice how the two "conservative" bloggers make righties look so bad? They write and think more like Faux News. I'm surprised the paper encourages that type of writing. LaPlante seems more like a Republican than a Libertarian at times, but at least his tone is civil and he presents a lucid argument backed up by facts.

KS, I hope you don't mind. I borrowed that Faux News line of yours in the comment thread over at DetNews.

I think that is a brilliant line.

Midwestern Progressive, thanks for the compliment, but I can't take the credit for Faux News. I don't remember where or when I read it, but I remember thinking at the time how appropriate the euphemism was and continued to use it.

Bostonian Exile, NO, not Ann Coulter. She gives the term "bitch" credibility!!

I'm trying to look at it as a First Amendment benefit. I wouldn't seek out that viewpoint, but it's good to know what they're thinking, even if it does grate like nails on a chalkboard.

Kind of like perpetual Freeper 101. One rather doubts they have advanced classes in that.
