Ron Paul has his own blimp

Anybody have an extra five thousand bucks they don't need so they can sponsor me for a ride? I don't think I'm major media enough to get a free one, even if I promised to write lovely posts on all five of my blogs.

Oh, and by the way Lester, I was crushed when I opened the comments and discovered it wasn't a kind offer to sponsor my ride on the blimp... :-]

I'll take the von Hindenerg over the Huckster anytime.

We want the Huckster to do well right now SC. It's driving the fringenuts crazy and it's keeping the other nutcases down.

He'd be the easiest to beat in the general.

[Gomer Pyle] He'd be the easiest to beat in the genera [election]l.

But Libby, they are all a bunch of losers.

Well yeah SC, but they have to nominate one of them. I'd prefer it be the one who was the easiest to beat so the new prez could win with a big majority instead of razor thin margin. Of all of them, old Huck would be the one I think to deliver that mandate for the Dems.

Just saying..

But Libby, don't you think Tank-Credo or Chumpson (zzzzz) would deliver for the Dems?

Tancredo doesn't have a chance and Thompson I think would make a stronger candidate in the general SC.

Teh Huck is the craziest candidate they got. He totally personifies the fundies who hijacked the party. I think he's our safest bet. I'm not saying anything bad about him. I'd rather spend the time trashing Mitt.

Libby, you are not helping me overcome a profound trauma. It started years ago when I was living in London and took my kids to the "Dungeon," a rather tasteless exhibit of torture and mutilation executed in plaster and red, black and blue paint meant to simulate bleached skeletons, rotting flesh, and open, festering wounds. The kids thought it stupid, but it left me with nightmares. This was during the Reagan era.

And now you want me choose and support an equally ghoulish candidate from the GOP, the sure-fire "Night-of-the-Living-Dead" zombie that will hand victory to the Dems. I'd rather think about more wholesome folks like Dodd, Obama, Coal-Bear, and the Simpsons.

And if I don't get my way, I'll have a temper tantrum and move back to France where I will sulk and take up residence in Les Egout de Paris and talk opera.

P.S> I'd rather spend the time trashing Ghouliani, far more dangerous, in my opinion.

Lester: ecophotos- you sound like some people who work for the GOP

In the 1980s, I took the kids to the London Dungeon. My trauma was in recollecting how much the ghoulish torturers, badly executed in plaster, reminded of Republicans.

ecophotos- no i was saying your dislike of the current crop of candidates is similar to the way some on the right feel about them.

also, the misfits had a song called "london dungeon", the chorus was "I don't wanna be here" so maybe they had a simliar experience.

Speaking of blimps, check out this Huckabee family portrait.

I take back what I said, Libby. If these folks hit the campaign trail, they will make any Democrat heaven-bound.

Ick. This is the first I've read about the poor dog. It's makes Romney look like a humanitarian.
