Indecisions and revisions

Another sunny morning in the Sunshine State and I soon will be off to my local polling place; a VFW hall about 3 miles from here, sitting all alone between large tracts of parkland that still show signs of the three hurricanes that passed through here a few years ago.
I always vote and I always know who I am going to vote for long before the primary, but this morning I have two big questions I have to answer: do I put the top down on the car and who the hell do I vote for? The second question may very well not be decided until I'm under way and perhaps not until I walk between the big, green howitzers into the building. I'm going to have to vote for someone.
Of course the Florida vote has been made all but moot by the Democratic Party's little hissy fit that deprived us of delegates and I'm convinced that as usual, the most preposterously unsuitable candidate will prevail on both sides and of those two, the less likely to fix our national mess will win - but there are local issues that need to be decided and it's a nice day for a drive in the country. . .

Sounds like politics as usual in the Banana Republic of Florida. I know all you Floridians love the mild weather, etc but, I just don't think the trade off is worth it.
I look at it as a chance to make a difference. The amazing fact is that there are more registered democrats than Republicans here, but the latter are good at screwing the former out of their rights. Don't forget that Florida actually voted for Gore.
I think the only difference between my banana republic and the larger one called the USA is that we actually grow bananas here - 25 different varieties you can't get in New York!
vote for ron paul. you know you want to
I want to vote for someone who will do some of the things Ron Paul says he will do. I've yet to hear of anyone who came close to being the kind of president he said he would be.
Besides I would have to register as a republican and I would sooner join the Klan.
LOL, Capt. My mother has always told me that my favorite song as a wee girl was "Yes, We Have No Banans."
Geez, I can't spell tonight! BANANAS!
