I've been saying for nine years though, I wish we did a lot more street protesting after the 2000 elections. We didn't have Twitter to blame back then either.

Didn't you make fun of the protesters last time Americans tried protesting?

And before you starting with the astroturfing talk, this is done particularly for a candidate. These protests aren't completely spontaneous either - they were planned online. I doubt that candidate didn't have people online helping push these protests along.

No, I've never mocked anyone for wanting to participate in a civil action, but I have criticized their messaging when it's muddled.

And Iran is not about the candidate so much as it is about the system. They're protesting against the current government, not for Mousavi.
